James Cox, an Old Cliftonian and Head Boy of School House, choose to get married to his beautiful bride, Katy in our stunning Chapel on 10th August. The ceremony begun with the bride singing ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ down the aisle which was a moving surprise for the Groom. After the impressive Ceremony in our exclusive Chapel there was a drinks reception in the Newbolt Room and on the School House lawn which was a memorable place for James. The guests then enjoyed a three course fine dining option and plenty of drinks in our recently refurbished Grand Hall. The Mowtown band, accompanied by the Bride’s lovely singing then kicked off the dancing until late into the evening.

“On behalf of the Cox family I would like to express my thanks for putting on such a superb event to celebrate my son’s wedding last Saturday .
It goes without saying that the beautiful surroundings at Clifton are quite unique, so the setting spoke for itself. However, thanks to your experience and hard work, the whole event surpassed all expectations. I congratulate all your team for the flexible attention to detail i.e.even being able to move the pre dinner drinks from the lawn to the Newbolt room and back to the lawn when it stopped raining!!
Well done, and once again thank you.”
“What a bobby dazzler! I’m so so delighted that the wedding was totally magical. Everything was handled perfectly from beginning to end. A very big thank you for everything. It just surpassed expectations!!”
