Clifton College recently played host to the first Prince’s Trust Gala Dinner held in the South West, where the charity event raised over £64,000 to help young people into work.

The classic Victorian architecture glowed ruby red when the Prince’s Trust illuminated the School buildings to welcome their invited guests for the evening. Over 200 people mingled in the magnificent Percival Library for champagne and canapés before moving into the Great Hall, which had been lavishly decorated in the red and white theme of the evening. Sanjeev Bhaskar OBE, actor, comedian and Trust ambassador, hosted the sumptuous evening with Jeremy Pickles, Development Director at Clifton, conducting the live and the silent auctions using innovative iPad technology.

World-renowned soul singer Ruby Turner rounded off a perfect occasion with a rousing set and there were calls for the evening to become an annual event.
